A-level之2020英国前四的院校

　　2020世界大学学术排名（Academic Ranking of World Universities）在8月公布了全球1000所大学的学术水平排名，对这千所大学的最新学术实力进行了深度评估。


　　这一千所大学的选择依据是什么呢？

　　ARWU认为大学有诺贝尔奖获得者、领域奖获得者、被高度引用的研究人员，或者在《自然》或《科学》上的发表论文。此外，被Science Citation Index-Expanded(SCIE)和Social Science Citation Index(SSCI)收录论文量较大的大学也包括在内。总计有2000多所大学被实际排名，最好的1000所大学被公布。


　　在这场全球千所大学排名当中，有8所英国院校跻身世界百强，分别是剑桥大学、牛津大学、伦敦大学学院、帝国理工学院、曼彻斯特大学、爱丁堡大学、伦敦国王学院和布里斯托大学。

　　01剑桥大学：A*A*A

Subject Area	A-level
Chemical Engineering	A*A*A（require A Level/IB Higher Level Chemistry, Mathematics* and Physics）
Economics	A*A*A（A Level/IB Higher Level Mathematics.）
Mathematics	A*A*A（require A Level/IB Higher Level Mathematics, A Level Further Mathematics）
Medicine	A*A*A（A Levels in Chemistry and one of Biology, Physics, Mathematics.）
Natural Sciences	A*A*A（require A Levels/IB Higher Levels in at least two science/mathematics）

Biology	A*AA (with the A* in a science or Maths)
Chemistry	A*A*A (with both A*s in science subjects and/or Maths)
Economics and Management	A*AA (with Maths at A or A*)
Mathematics	A*A*A with the A*s in Maths and Further Maths if taken
Medicine	A*AA (excluding Critical Thinking and General Studies and at least an A in both Chemistry and one or more of Biology, Physics or Maths)
Physics	A*AA (with the A* in Physics, Maths or Further Maths)

Biological and Life Sciences	AAA(Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics required.)
Economics, Politics and Social Sciences	AAB(No specific subjects.)
Mathematics and Statistics	A*A*A with A*A* in Maths and Further Maths, or A*AA with A*A in Maths and Further Maths, in any order, and a 2 in any STEP Paper or a Distinction in the Mathematics AEA.
Medicine and Allied Subjects	AAB(Biology and Chemistry required.)
Physical Sciences	AAA(Chemistry and one of Biology, Physics or Mathematics required.)
